Towyn House, a Holiday Cottage in ScotlandTowyn House is a self catering family holiday home, ideally situated in the delightful village of Comrie, Perthshire set in the southern foothills of the Grampians. 
The house is within easy reach of many of Scotland's cultural centres. Stirling castle just half an hour away and the historic cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth are all within an easy drive. This is a perfect location for a wide range of activities; walking, golfing, water sports, fishing, cycling, riding, bird watching and touring Scotland's beautiful scenery. In addition to Comrie's own delightful golf course, only a little further afield lie the championship courses of Gleneagles, Carnoustie and St Andrews. Also accessible are winter sports of skiing and curling and for walkers and climbers several Monros. Towyn House is a spacious, warm and comfortably furnished family home. It has a secluded garden to the rear with numerous species of small birds feeding from the feeders and defying the antics of the squirrels. Deer and sometimes red squirrel may be seen nearby. Walk out of the back door, and you are into the old beech woods and on up into the hills. Out of the front door you are quickly into the heart of this charming and friendly village with its numerous small shops and amenities.
